The Internet has cracked in half with the news that Marvel Studios and Sony have come to terms that allow Spider-Man to appear in the Marvel Movie Universe, joining the ranks of the Avengers, The Inhumans, and all those other characters. We’ll see a Spider-Man solo flick, Spider-Man will appear in Captain America: Civil War, and his future in the MCU is finally secured. CBR is reporting more movie releases from Marvel Studios as a part of the company’s ongoing cinematic universe. Here’s the scoop.
CBR is reporting that at today’s special Marvel Studios Mystery Event, Marvel Studios President officially announced that Captain America 3 will be called:
I’ve been prattling on about Marvel comic and reboots for years and writing about it prolifically since this site’s inception, up to earlier this year, and even earlier this week, but Marvel just keeps on adding layers to the reboot rumor cake, and I really love cake! The recent news is quite compelling, feeding the rumor mill to gluttonous proportions, but I still don’t think we’re going to see a hard reboot of the Marvel Universe.

Comic Con International in San Diego has come and gone, but we’re still all giddy about all the news that came from the hype-fest that is SDCC. TV, Movies, Toys, and, yes, of course, Comics were all everybody I know has been talking about for the past few days. While I lean a bit more toward the comic books news, I also had some other top choices of news tidbits from the show.
