How’s it going? Coming out this Wednesday is SPACE RIDERS #2. But since SPACE RIDERS #1 sold out so quickly we also have a reprint of that on shelves. You know what that means? If you didn’t talk about SPACE RIDERS the first time around now is an excellent time to get people excited on the series. SPACE RIDERS #1 has become a legitimate cult hit with fan art coming in all the time, cosplayers beginning to pop up, and at least one tattoo spotted out there. THE DISCIPLES marks Black Mask’s latest foray into TV, joining the adaptation of FIVE GHOSTS that Black Mask has in development at Syfy with Evan Daugherty (Snow White And The Huntsman) writing the pilot.

Black Mask debuts YouTube multi-channel network for new ‘tubecomics’ format
Enables ad-supported binge-viewing of comics across devices

Publishing and production company Black Mask Studios debuted its latest tech-entertainment innovations in today’s New York Times: tubecomics, a new digital comics format, and Blackmask.tv, a YouTube multi-channel network that will serve as tubecomics’ home. The format/platform duo are designed to encourage ad-supported binge-viewing of comics, a project developed by Black Mask co-founder Matt Pizzolo, who Wired Magazine named ‘World’s Most Wired Comics Creator’ for his forward-thinking ideas about marrying art with technology.
