***Spoiler Alert*** A lot of weird stuff happened, so you probably should go watch it.
We are two episodes in since Rick’s group has joined the peaceful community of Alexandria and while some seem to be adjusting well (Maggie and Michonne). Rick, Carol, Daryl and Sasha seem to be having a harder time living with the locals. The episode focused mostly on their path to “normal living,” which seems to have proved to be rocky for some. **SPOILER ALERT** We recapped this a couple days late, so you should have already watched the show. Seriously.
In this week’s episode the group reacts to the suspiciously clean Aaron, who emerged out of the woods to startle Sasha and Maggie. He is as charming as the Governor without seeming too condescending. He tells them he understands why they don’t trust them, but shows them pictures of his community and tells them he wants them to “audition” for membership. Rick punches Aaron because he has apparently forgotten how to say “no thanks.” I get it; it is hard to trust anyone in this world especially since they have already faced some nasty people. Not a whole lot happened this week, but there is much to discuss. The show was a little slow paced, but that doesn’t mean that the group is out of danger. The world can rejoice because our beloved show is back and they didn’t spare any time in breaking our hearts once again. If you are an avid reader of TV news then you may have read the numerous teasers about what lied ahead for the group. It really isn’t anything new; destruction and devastation all around! Judging by the first episode back from winter break, the group is headed to a dark place (mentally, maybe even physically.) Things are looking bleak, again.
