Finding one’s self is necessary for everyone…but not like this. Bloodshot is on a nanite – less mission to stop a nanite enraged person on a killing spree. It seems the nanites are smarter than we thought. How smart has yet to be seen. I have a feeling “Ray” still has a long way to go.

Jeff Lemire is leading us on a adventure of both the mind and body. He is taking an already complex character and leading him down two paths…at the same time. Spectacular storytelling sorely lacking in the medium today.

Mico’s artwork, also, is taking us down two different mediums on this title. His visceral real world details along side the impish, cartoon Bloodsquirt. Fantastic display of the duality of every human brain, most commonly found in addictive personalities.

Overall, the read on this issue was fresh, fast paced, and just plain fun to watch. It’s going to a great ride.
