This Geek In Music: Justin Keen

Track Name: Caesura
Album: Pros

Beginning his career as a guitarist, Justin Keen has played in a gamut of various bands ranging from Metal to Psychedelic Party Rap. After adopting a few more instruments he began writing and producing his own music in his home studio, and began releasing his own brand of electronic music blended with his knowledge of guitar rock and harmony.

More recently, Justin has composed film scores for several independent films. His maiden voyage in film, “Bad Day”, weaves punk rock with traditional ambient film scoring. Earlier this year he composed the film score for Beef and Peppers Productions film “Pros”, a film about the seedy life of a local, drug addicted wrestler.
After cutting his teeth with these two films, his next project is underway with “Devil’s Carwash”, a short fictional piece that is in pre-production currently.
