X-O Manowar #34Publisher: Valiant Entertainment
Writer: Robert Venditti
Artist: Diego Bernard
Colorist: Brian Reber
Cover Artists: Lewis LaRosa, Jorge Molina, Das Pastoras, Butch Guice

Aric has defeated the Armor Hunters, but he has no idea what their masters have up their sleeves. Aric has to fulfill a promise, but it may be his last action he ever takes.

Oh my god this so fun to read! Robert Venditti has engaged the senses on this one, and it looks like this is going to be a fantastic story arc. No one single issue has ever made me sympathize with The Vine, but I have now. They face utter annihilation.

Diego Bernard and Brian Rebel do a fantastic job of showing the ominous presence that is The Dead Hand. Everything was shown in esquisite detail, and the colors were bright and beautiful.

The covers do a fantastic job of making this issue stand out, and to show us the severity of the situation. I just love wraparound covers!

All in all, this is why I read Valiant comics. They are never afraid to try new things, or to bring back things that made Valiant so popular on the 90’s. This issue is no exception.
