Review: Ivar, Timewalker #2

IVAR_002_COVER-B_LEVELIvar, Timewalker #2
Publisher: Valiant Entertainment
Writer: Fred Van Lente
Artist: Clayton Henry
Variant cover art: Brian Level, Ramon Villalobos, David Baron, Michael Walsh

Ivar, in this issue, has taken it upon himself to give us, and Neela, a crash course in the ways of Time traveling. Problem is, other time travelers always seem to get in the way. And there always something that seems insignificant, that ends up being the key to everything. Something Neela is slowly finding out for herself.

Fred Van Lente writes so many nuances to the way time works in the valiantverse. How everything will always have it place. However, something foreboding lurks in the back ground, and Ivar is keeping quiet about it

Clayton Henry once again steps up, and again shows us how seamless Ivar actually moves through times . Top with the brilliance of Brian Reber

Raul Allen Cover is a brilliant use of both positive and negative spacing, as well as foreboding an background. The use of all of them together really makes this issue stand out.

Ivar TimeWalker does head and shoulders a stand out amongst all the other comics on the shelf. None of the others offer us the best qualities of sliders and Doctor Who. We get both in this series. For this valiant deserves a pat on the back.
